I am honored to be one of the recipients of the Pacesetter Scholarship. Thanks to your generous support I am the first in my family to attend a college or university. Growing up in a less privileged community has not only offered financial and academic challenges, but it has more importantly made me realize the value of a college education.

I am a first semester nursing student at Northern Arizona University. My goal in life is to become a Pediatric nurse and help my family, friends and community as much as they have helped me. By awarding me the scholarship, you have lightened by financial burden which allows me to focus more on the most important aspect of school, learning.
